Benefits of PEAK Partnership
Through this partnership, families can receive up to $3,000 per student in reimbursements to cover academic expenses, such as non-religious private school courses (e.g., PE, music, band, electives, foreign languages, online courses, technology, tutoring, sports, fine arts fees, supplies, and registration fees.

Denali PEAK is a correspondence homeschool program that allows students to enroll in non-religious courses, including those taken at a private school, using state-funded homeschool allotments.

Families can concurrently enroll their students at CIA and Denali PEAK, simplifying the enrollment, grading, assessment, and receipt submission process. This collaboration provides families with reimbursement of up to $3,000 per student to help cover appropriate expenses.

Upon enrolling with CIA, you will be asked if you give permission to share your child’s enrollment information with Denali PEAK. If you select YES, you do not have to submit additional paperwork/information to Denali PEAK.

CIA and Denali PEAK handle the enrollment paperwork and assessment options for families. The process is designed to be streamlined, making it easier for parents/guardians and ensuring they receive all the benefits without the hassle of managing extensive paperwork.

Upon enrollment with CIA and opting into the Denali PEAK partnership, CIA will share enrollment information and grades with Denali PEAK through Sycamore.

For those CIA students who opt to participate in the PEAK partnership, Denali PEAK will be able to access grades internally through Sycamore. Families will participate in communication/monthly contact initiated by the Denali PEAK staff and advisor teachers.

CIA and Denali PEAK do not have the ability to requisition (pay up front) tuition. Families must pay CIA and then wait to be reimbursed for allowable expenses. The process has been streamlined for CIA families.

No. Denali PEAK is able to reimburse for curriculum, materials, instruction, activities, lessons, and supplies that are not faith-based. Examples are PE, music, band, electives, foreign language, online classes, and more. Each year CIA shares curriculum and instructional information with Denali PEAK to determine what can be reimbursed.

If you choose to use your reimbursement towards sports, technology, or other non-CIA classes, you can still benefit from the PEAK partnership through our streamlined sharing of information. In addition, you will not have to enroll your child in any courses outside of CIA in order to enroll them in Denali PEAK, as with other homeschool programs.

Yes, CIA families have the flexibility in choosing their own correspondence school or none at all. During the enrollment process, select NO, you do not want to participate in the Denali PEAK partnership. At this time, Denali PEAK is the only correspondence program reimbursing for educational expenses incurred at CIA.
